Abstract

The intrinsic dimensionality of the MODEL-1 representing the system of the classes of stable and unstable complex hydrides of the type ABHnD4-n complex hydrides (A = alkali metal, B = the IIIB atom, D = ligand and n = number of hydride atoms) has been estimated to be eleven. The proposed intrinsic dimensionality determination is based on Karhunen-Loeve expansion followed by a relatively simple procedure for the formation of near optimum feature set.
