Abstract
Kinetics of hydrogenation of 1,3- and 1,5-cyclooctadiene and cyclooctene on palladium support catalysts (Pd/CaCO3, Pd/γ-Al2O3) were measured in heptane solutions at 300 K and atmospheric pressure of hydrogen. The kinetic constants were obtained by relating the experimental data to a kinetic model in which the partial reactions are assumed to be 1 st order.
