Abstract
5-Nitro-2-furylvinylation of o-, m-, and p-disubstituted and trisubstituted benzene derivatives afforded under conditions of Friedel-Crafts condensation (E)-2-substituted 1-(5-nitro-2-furyl)-ethylene.
