Tartrate complexes of molybdenum(VI)

Abstract
The formation of MoO2(TH-1)24- and (MoO2)2(TH-2)24- complexes was proved in roughly neutral aqueous solutions and their equilibrium constants were determined by potentiometric neutralization titrations. The possible ways of bonding of the tartrate ligand to the central Mo(VI) atom and the compositions of the Mo(VI) tartrate chelates are discussed.
