Abstract

An octapeptide analogue of Leu5-enkephalin, prolonged in the carboxyterminal part by the tripeptide Lys-Lys-Leu was prepared. Its action on guinea-pig ileum and splitting by trypsin and tissue cathepsin B was investigated.
