Abstract

The interface Hg/solution of tetraalkylammonium salts in N,N'-DMF was studied by using impedance and chronocoulometric measurements. The Cd-E and R-E curves were determined and maxima are noted at fairly negative potentials which are attributed to a change in orientation of the cations at the interface. The Q-t curves support this assumption revealing the existence of slow surface process at these potentials.
