Abstract

Synthesis of alkoxy derivatives of closo-decaborate anion [1- and 2-B₁₀H₉OR]^2- by reaction of the hydroxy derivatives with corresponding alkyl bromides was described. A new method of synthesis of 2-hydroxy derivative of closo-decaborate anion [2-B₁₀H₉OH]^2- was proposed.
